No one - just a figment of your imagination. All kidding aside, if you really want to know something about me, just ask.
But who I am (------------>)
has little or nothing to do with the bigger picture, which is Counting Crows.

Back in 97, shortly after the release of Recovering.
03: What does this site have to do with the official? Back to the Top
Nothing and everything. This site is the unofficial sister site to the official.
I try to get the important information there and avoid duplicating information here on this site and save it for things like unreleased songs and random info that has no place on a bands official site.
I love them and working on their site is my priority and privilege.
I've always had the advantage of being in touch with all of their fans via this site.
I've taken that collective effort with me to the official and their site is better
than it ever has been.
I've closed down key parts of this site in favor
of concentrating that effort onto their site. We love them, we should love their site
even more than this one.

Yep, but so do a few other people.
There are many cooks in the kitchen. I am a webmaster there but
getting things there is a bit more complicated than putting them here..
As of late, we've adopted a semi-prime directive, to do what's best for the band, regardless.

Not at all, they've always kindly turned the cheek and let me go about my way.
I believe because they know I have nothing but love for them. I don't publish their album material,
because its pointless, as adam said once "if you want to hear the version on the record,
go listen to the record". None of them have ever told me what I can or can not do here,
however I've opted to not post certain things in light of knowing the bands wishes because I respect them muchly.
Case in point: Fan photos, Adam has said again and again he does not like taking pictures with people,
yet people persist on taking them.
For a while I published them in my photo galleries, recently I got rid of them all. It's a simple respect issue.

If I told you, I'd have to kill you ;)
No really, I use basic programs to do my tasks. The site is hard coded, with the exception
of the forums, review database, and guestbook, all of which are powered by various server side software apps.
Let me advise against using point and click page builders, you'll only end up with a crappy site that no one wants
to go to. Take some time, learn how to do it the right way. Let your love for your subject motivate you, not greed.

Only in a perfect world. I do not get paid, I PAY..(ain't that a bitch?)
but I do get a small kick back from several affiliates within the site. So be nice and click my links.
On a side note, I was once offered several thousand dollars for this site, I turned them down.

No way jose, although I pay the hosting fees and donations are welcome (see below), this site is strictly about love, not money.
